The TWIN-QUASAR is a chain actuator with a double chain and is available in both a 24V DC and a 230V AC version. It has a fixed, non-adjustable stroke of 500mm. and, because of the double chain, a maximum push/pull force of 600N. Applicable to wide windows and vents for natural ventilation. The 24 Volt DC version complies with EN12101-2 and is therefore also suitable for use in natural smoke and heat extraction (N-RWA) systems.
This actuator can be used instead of 2 separate "synchro" chain actuators on wide sashes. Because it has two chains with an intermediate space of 700mm. it is possible to use it on sashes till approx. 2000mm. wide. (It depends on the chosen window profile and/or requested wind- and water tightness). The chains are always run synchronously due to the built-in synchro function.
The TWIN-QUASAR has an extruded aluminum housing (69x37mm.) which has a EV1/F1 anodised finish as standard. Optional also available in white or black painted version.
Standard equipped with an automatic 0-point detection in closed position. This eliminates the need for mechanical adjustment.
The start position, end position and overload protection are electronically controlled.

Comes with a fixed connection cable of 3 mtr. (number of wires depends on the version)
