FIREMEN OVERRIDE SWITCH FBT

With the firemen override switch FBT, the fire brigade commander has full control over the opening and closing of SHE exhaust valves or windows.

The FBT firemans override switch is an extension for the digital control unit M-SHEV. Using the priority function, the various automatic schemes can be set using the manual triggering device, smoke detectors and fire alarm system inputs. It is thus possible for the BMZ to close the smoke extraction flaps first, with the local smoke detector reopening the individual windows. But it should decide the fire department, which flap opens or remains closed. This is possible with the firemans override switch.

Note:

When using the FBT fire brigade control switch, an extra SI-100 module is required per SHE group in the M-Vent control panel to overrule all alarm signals.
The additional SI-100 MASTER module generates a higher-level SHE group that can overwrite all alarms present. This is possible in the direction of OPEN as well as in the direction of CLOSE. For this, the module has to be integrated into the respective groups. The module is operated via the firemans override switch, which is secured by a key against access by strangers. When activated, the fire departments chief can override the assigned SHE groups individually to suit his tactics.
