The wind-rain detector WTS-892 is designed for connection to SHE and ventilation control panels of SIMON PROtec. The wind detector (anemometer) measures the wind that blows past the turbine and compares the measured values with the set values. When the windforce exceeds a preset value, the connected windows will close automatically. The wind force is adjustable from 1 Bft. up to 12 Bft.
The raindetector prevents that automated windows stay open or will be opened in case of excessive rain. A heated sensor surface avoids false triggering by snow, ice or dew. The period of time to respond to the rain can be adjusted thanks to the built-in time delay.
